The Southeastern Economic Development Corp. has appointed Nancy Lytle to manager of projects and development. Lytle possesses 20 years’ experience in city planning, redevelopment and management. Most recently, she was employed with the city of Chula Vista as assistant planning director.
The La Jolla Festival of the Arts has named its 2009 committee members. The panel features Ronn Rohe, James Hinkle, Robert Metz, Shelly Hall, Larry Burdt, Peter Ballantyne, Steven and Charlotte Goldstein, Don Ludwig, Marjorie Kirby, Cloti Simpelo, James Spievak and Will Rogers.

Feb. 4, 2009: Pomona Home Market Activity
Forty Pomona homes were listed for sale during the week ending Jan. 31, 2009, and 24 homes entered escrow, according to the Inland Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service.
A total of 605 Pomona homes were listed for sale in the MLS on Feb. 4. Included are 481 single-family homes. There were 124 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Pomona on Feb. 4.
The MLS lists 268 Pomona listings as vacant, 225 as "short sales," and 120 as owned by lenders who foreclosed on defaulted loans.
Twenty-four Pomona homes were reported as sold in the MLS in the week ending Jan. 31, 2009.
