WHAT: Garden Grove Park - Grand Opening
WHERE: 9301 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA
WHEN: Valentine’s Day (Saturday, February 14th 2009) from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

They’ve lined up lots of entertainment for the grand opening. They’re planning pet contests and trivia (with prizes for the winners) along with special appearances from Soccer Collies, Woof Gang Fly Ball, Disc dog Demo, Dina the “Pet Finder” host from Animal Planet, Joel Silverman “Good Dog U” trainer, and much more making it a fun day for both two and four legged friends!
They’re also collecting donations of all types of pet food at the event, which will then be delivered to an Orange County food bank.

how to get from Garden Grove to Yosemite National Park and get hotel?
Nov 21, 2006 by truonghuyminh | Posted in Other - United States
From Garden Grove, drive north on I-5 for approximately 110 miles. Keep left to continue on SR-99 to Fresno. When you approach Fresno, keep right and take SR-41 north for approximately 63 miles to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. After passing the entrance station, turn left (west) onto Wawona Road and continue for another 26 miles to get into Yosemite Valley. Drive time is approximately 5.5 to 6 hours not including stops.
It's difficult, if not impossible, to get lodging in the park on short notice. You can check at the front desk of Curry Village and Yosemite Lodge to see if there are any rooms available (last minute cancellations). However, I wouldn't count on it. You may be able to get a tent cabin as those are usually the last to go. Depending on the season, the tent cabins can be very cold at night. Check for room availability online at the site shown below.
If you can't get a room in the valley, the closest hotels are located in El Portal outside the west entrance on SR-140. Yosemite View lodge is located at the park boundary and Cedar lodge is located about 5 miles west of the park boundary. Check for room availability at the site listed below.
There are other accommodations in Yosemite West near the Glacier Point Road and Wawona, both of which are in the park but located farther away from the valley then El Portal.

How much is for the all day pass at the Tet Festival and what rides are there?
Feb 01, 2009 by LoVe Is BaCkWArDs | Posted in Current Events
Im talking about the tet festival in the Garden Grove Park, located next to the Bolsa Grande high school. How much is the all day pass. The admission to get in is $5 but how much is the pass and what rides do they have.
The all day pass is 25 dollars. Also, there are many rides like the zipper, spin out, himalayas, and gee whiz. There are many to choose from. My personal favorite is the gee whiz. If you are a thrill seeker you might like chicago loop, zipper, and spin out . xDD Hope this helps. xDD
