Rockies division preview - San Francisco
09.02.09
This weekend one of the games giant stars has taken a blow to his credibility , today we will talk about the San Francisco Giants. Earlier this week I previewed the San Diego Padres and today I will run the San Francisco Giants through the ringer.
The Giants have made some moves this off season with the intentions to make a run at the NL West crown this season. The Giants have the best young pitcher in the Major Leagues in Tim Lincecum and an old fireballer who will make a run at 300 career wins in 2009 in Randy Johnson . In between they have Matt Cain who is every bit as talented and capable as Lincecum and if Barry Zito can find any of the magic he had in Oakland the Giants have a rotation that could end up being one of the best in the Major Leagues, much less the NL West.
When the Giants are at the plate they have some veterans mixed with young talent. Randy Winn , Bengie Molina

Do they still screen old movies in the parks in San Francisco in summer?

If so, what park and when.
The park changes with each showing. It is usually either in Union Square, Dolores Park, or Washington Square Park. I do not think that the 2009 schedule is out yet.

Where can our carpool going north from San Francisco park just south of the Golden Gate bridge?
Jan 16, 2007 by Raffscalion | Posted in San Francisco
We are carpooling to the North Bay from San Francisco. Since we are coming from different parts of the city, we would like to meet right before the bridge. Is there a good place to park that is accessible from both 19th Ave and Lombard without going too far out of the way? The Presidio is a big place, so please be specific.
Thank you!
I'd park in the marina green area or near the presidio. here:
go down marina blvd until you hit one of the last lights near the palace of the fine arts. you should see volleyball courts on your right. keep going down that road (almost veering right, but really straight). there are parking lots there (free) and near the bridge.
