Joy ride in Fontana turns deadly for 3 boys - Los Angeles Times

Feb. 4, 2009: Fontana Home Market Activity
One hundred one Fontana homes were listed for sale during the week ending Jan. 31, 2009, and 93 homes entered escrow, according to the Inland Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service.
A total of 1,476 Fontana homes were listed for sale in the MLS on Feb. 4. Included were 1,362 single-family homes not in associations. There were 114 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Fontana on Feb. 4.
The MLS listed 791 Fontana listings as vacant, 569 as "short sales," and 458 as owned by lenders who foreclosed on defaulted loans.
Sixty-one Fontana homes were reported as sold in the MLS during the week ending Jan. 31, 2009.

Are Fontana brand syrups the same at Starbuck's brand syrups? I want to buy one to make WC mochas at home.

I want to make white chocolate mochas at home. Someone told me that Starbuck's white chocolate syrup is the same thing as Fotana syrup, it is just packaged differently. I know Starbuck's doesn't sell the syrup for white chocolate mochas to customers, which is why I want to do this. I'd appreciate it if you know, or maybe you've worked at Starbuck's. I don't want to buy a $40 Fontana syrup when it won't be the same as the Starbuck's one. The link I am looking at is this one:

Starbucks does have its own brand and no you can't buy it. If you want to make killer white chocolate mochas though I suggest Ghiradelli powdered white chocolate. It's cheaper than the syrups and it's hard to over-sweeten your drinks. I've used both and I really like the powder better.

Buying a home in Fontana, CA?

I am looking into buying a home in Fontana, CA and I wanted some feedback from people....What area of Fontana is a good area (schools, violence....etc.) I found some in these zip codes....92337, 92235 & 92336? I also thought about Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Riverside and Redlands. Any feedback would be nice. Thanks.
Like all cities, Fontana has certain areas which are not good. If you are looking for something in Fontana, I suggest the area near the I-15, rather than near the I-10.
Rancho is nice too.
Rialto - not so much.
Riverside - the 'wood' streets are nice, Canyon Crest, country-club area, and/or Victoria Ave.
Redlands - most of the area is nice.

I noticed a patch of rainbow in the clouds today, it smeared away. what can that possibly be?

It was smeared like a rainbow painting on a cloud.
It disappeared for a moment then it was there again, and across from it was another one. My brother and I were questioning ourselves, but there was no reflection of water near like a lake or anything. This happened around 4:30 pm today. This was on our way home from Fontana to Los Angeles while on the freeway.
"smeared" = multiple sections of rainbow , parallel to one another?
The sun was shining through multiple thin layers of cloud &/or rain, and you were in a position to see it . Have seen it many times , with varying numbers, sizes, and brightness of rainbows. ( Live in the #5 or #6 cloudiest place in US, so it's a little compensation for that . ;D)

The ultimate form of this is something called Uolla's Rings. It's concentric circular rainbows . The first (of 3) times I saw it was from the top of Algonquin Mountain , in the Adirondacks . Most of the clouds were a little lower, and the highest mountain tops looked like islands in a white ocean , and then........ Uolla's Rings . ....Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;DDDDDDDD
Here's about what it looked like , except it was fall not winter (early spring?) , the clouds were just a bit lower (50-100'?) and there was a little bit of cloud above to produce the rings . Have to use your imagination a bit .
